My Story
In 1998 I joined Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as environment artist.
Initially I was in a small team of 13 that started the orginal Getaway project for PS1.
With the conformation of PS2 6 months into the project management took the wise decision to stop and start again for PS2. In January 2003 it was release to great successes, setting new records for most pre orders at the time, it went on to sell over 4 million units.
I was initially creating environment art for the city as well as objects before moving into my primary role as vehicle artist, recreating 124 cars. Promotion to senior meant I also trained new artists and managed the schedule for a small group.
After the complition of the Getaway I worked on the follow up title Black Monday and at times was a vehicle constultant for SCEE’s title Hardware online.
In addition I was involved with creation of the environment art for the city as well as object creation. As a senior I also trained new artists and managed the schedule for a small group.
